You play as EVE, a soldier dropped onto a ruined, post-apocalyptic Earth to wipe out the Naytiba—the creatures that effectively kicked humanity off the planet. It sounds like your standard sci-fi setup, but the story actually goes some dark, interesting places as you uncover what really happened to civilization.
The real star here is the combat. It is fast, punishing, and incredibly satisfying once you master the parry timing. You are constantly unlocking new moves and upgrades that make EVE feel like a total powerhouse. The boss fights are the highlight, forcing you to actually learn patterns rather than just button-mashing your way to victory.
